The idea of incorporating spirituality into your business is something I used to shy away from.
Initially, it didn’t fit with the vision I had for the brand I was building. It didn’t mesh with the kind of content I was writing. I just didn’t want to push people away. And well, sharing blogging tips doesn’t exactly follow a post about manifestation.
Even though spirituality was a big part of my daily life and my business behind the scenes, I kept it hidden.
But yet, here I was… Manifesting all day, every day.
Working on my mindset was priority number one. And it was a huge reason I was able to find success as an online business owner, yet it wasn’t something I disclosed. Instead of teaching the mindset work, I focused on the strategy. The practical strategies that everyone could get behind. Not the “woo woo” things that would have pushed some away.
These days, things look different. I’ve fully embraced my spiritual side and have made it a major focus of this business. And I’d love to help you do the same, whether it’s a little dose of spirituality here and there or a major one.
Incorporating Spirituality Into Your Business
So, how you can begin incorporating spirituality into your business? Well, there are a number of things you can do behind the scenes, as well as some things that you can openly share and talk about with your audience. But before I dive in…
When I talk about spirituality, I’m not referring to the fact that I was baptized and raised Catholic. Personally, my religion was basically only recognized on Sundays. It wasn’t something I practiced in my daily life, which is why it has never fully resonated with me. These days, I’m all about the Universe, the Law of Attraction, my crystals, and my tarot cards. Haha!
Whatever spirituality looks like to you, embrace that. And take the tips from this post that do resonate.
1. Add Meditation to Your Daily Routine
Meditation is a very powerful practice. It can help you to relax and clear your mind of any cluttered thoughts. And when you do this, it provides you with more opportunities for guidance to flow in because you’re more open to receiving it.
These days, we are so busy and our minds are consumed and constantly racing with a variety of thoughts. Because of this, it’s easy to overlook any guidance that the Universe, God, angels, or whatever source you believe in could be trying to send you. Meditation is the perfect way to quiet the mind so that you can actually hear the messages you need the most.
Try meditating every morning to start your day off on the right foot. And if you find it beneficial, you can even meditate during breaks throughout your day to receive clarity and to de-stress. I also love meditations that help you connect with your spirit guides, like this one from Gabby Bernstein. Just make sure you have a pen and a notebook on hand so you can jot down all the messages as they start coming in.
2. Let Go of How Your Goals Will Manifest & Have Faith
One thing that the Law of Attraction teaches us is that it’s not our job to wonder how something will manifest into our lives. We simply need to place our order for what we want, take action to make it happen, and then have faith that it’ll manifest in the right time. The Universe will figure out the rest.
I mean, let’s say you want to have a $10k month in your business. Well, it doesn’t matter how you earn the money, right? It doesn’t matter if it comes from coaching clients, evergreen sales funnels for your courses, or affiliate income. What matters is that the money actually arrives in your bank account. Your job isn’t to stress about that. Instead, you need to align yourself with your desires and have faith that the Universe is conspiring to work for you.
3. Create a High-Vibe Workspace
A great way to start incorporating spirituality into your business is to make sure it’s present in your daily life. And what better reminder than to fill your desk with all the high-vibe things that encourage you to get into alignment with your desires?
Personally, I love to keep crystals around as I work because their energy can be helpful throughout the day. Some great crystals to keep on your desk are:
- Citrine: This stone is great to have around because it’s all about wealth and abundance. And you want your business to be abundant, right? It’ll help boost your money manifestations, so grab it whenever you’re setting your financial goals.
- Tiger’s Eye: Looking for courage and motivation? You’ll want a Tiger’s Eye stone nearby! It can also help you recognize any strengths and talents you may possess, which will help you grow your business.
- Selenite: It’ll help remove any negative energy, making it especially great for those who work with other people. This stone will also help you to tap into your intuition and receive messages from your spirit guides.
- Black Tourmaline: This is handy for eliminating electromagnetic waves that your computer and cell phone emit.
A vision board is also beneficial because it keeps your focus on your goals and desires. I also love having tarot cards and a pendulum on-hand whenever I have a burning question I’d like some feedback on. Speaking of which, that brings me to my next tip…
4. Ask for Guidance When Needed
Your higher source is always available for you whenever you need it the most. And as I mentioned above, it’s always trying to communicate with you and send messages for guidance. But if you aren’t open to receiving, then you’re going to miss out. That’s why meditation is so helpful because you quiet the mind and allow any important messages to come through.
But you don’t have to meditate whenever you need some support. You can simply ask! And you can also use oracle or tarot cards, as well as a pendulum, for additional clarity. Another way to receive messages is to look for signs. Angel numbers (such as 111, 222, 333, etc.) are one way your source is trying to tell you that you’re on the right track. You can even request specific signs. For example, my signs include feathers and a white Porsche.
5. Infuse Your Work With the Spiritual Elements That Mean the Most to You
Incorporating spirituality into your business is all about doing what works for you. You can infuse as much or as little of your work with spiritual elements as you want. For instance, you can use imagery that contains things like tarot cards or crystals. You can weave it into your website copy. And you can also tell the story of how your spirituality has helped you in you daily life and in your business.
The whole point is that you aren’t hiding this side of yourself because you’re worried what others will think. Fully embrace it and trust that it’ll resonate and attract the right people to your brand. After all, it’s your business and you deserve to be 100% yourself in it.
