October has finally arrived, my friends! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for cooler weather and watching the leaves change color. Besides that, I also have some pretty exciting things coming up in my business this month. I can’t wait to share it with you, but you’ll have to wait just a little bit longer! Fortunately, you will be getting a little bit of a teaser in this monthly goals post.
Check out what I’ll be working on this month and as always… Share your goals with me in the comments. I always love to hear what you’ll be working on in the weeks ahead!
Launch my course.
Yep, you read that right! I have a course coming later this month! I’m so excited to launch this and I’m looking forward to bringing on tons of new students. It’s always thrilling to launch something, but there’s always a lot of anxiety around it and whether or not it will succeed. So, I’m not going to deny it… There’s always that question about whether or not someone is going to buy my product. But all I can do is set a goal for myself, work hard on the course itself, and remain positive.
My top priority in the first couple of weeks this month is to make sure all of the course content is ready to go. I have a habit of obsessing over every last detail and trying to make sure things are “perfect.” But let’s be real… Nothing is ever perfect. All I can do is focus on putting together the best course I possibly can. I also need to plan out my launch content, such as emails, social media content, etc. Which brings me to my next goal!
Focus on consistent content creation.
Because I’m going into launch mode, there’s a lot of content that needs to be created. I need to write blog posts, social media posts, write emails, film videos, and plan out the live videos I intend to do. When you’re launching something, it’s important to share content that primes people and gets them ready to buy what you have to offer. And that’s what I’m focused on this month.
With so much content to create, I’ve given myself deadlines to get everything done. Hopefully I’ll be able to stay on track and consistently get all of those blog posts published on time. Everything is outlined in a project I created in Asana, so I’m organized and ready to go! (Wish me luck!)
If you weren’t already aware, I’m a big believer in the Law of Attraction. And when it comes to launching products and services, there can often be a lot of resistance. When you’re asking people to buy something from you, a lot of doubts can come up about your abilities and your worth. Sometimes it leaves you wondering, “Why would anyone buy something from me?”
To have a successful launch, you can’t have that kind of mindset. You need to believe in yourself and trust that everything will work out. You have to be in a mindset that favors financial abundance. And for me, regular meditation really helps with that. I want to make sure I’m meditating every single day to stay focused on my goals and to attract more abundance into my life. (I love meditations from Carrie Green of the Female Entrepreneur Association for this! If you’re in her Members’ Club, make sure you check them out!)
I’m aware that’s going to sound really “woo woo” to many who read this, but I feel as though it works for me. I don’t want to sabotage my own launch because my own limiting beliefs are standing in my way. I need to be confident in what I have to offer (because I know it’s incredibly valuable) and any mental blocks need to be destroyed.
Get rid of the clutter in my workspace.
While I’m pretty good about keeping my desk tidy, my workspace can sometimes get out of control. With stacks of notebooks and notepads and random items all over the place… It’s just not giving off good vibes. Clutter is distracting when it comes to your productivity and it’s not great for attracting abundance either.
This month, I want to tidy up and get rid of the things that are no longer serving any purpose. I suggest you do the same! If you workspace has gotten a little out of control with clutter, block off some time in your schedule to clean things up. Trust me, you’ll notice a difference afterwards.
Spend more time outside, enjoying the fall weather.
Fall is my absolute favorite season. I love the crisp air and the changing of the leaves. And I live for sweater weather, as well as donning boots and scarves. Before it gets too cold, I want to make sure I’m taking time outside to enjoy nature and the beautiful weather. I’d love to make sure I’m going for regular walks and even working outside when it’s not too chilly.
This is also the perfect time to do traditional fall things like visiting pumpkin patches! I’m also looking forward to making plenty of pumpkin treats and Halloween!
