The arrival of September is always an amazing time for me.
I feel like it’s a great opportunity for fresh starts because many are going back to school and the season changes later in the month. My birthday is also in September, which is always cause for excitement.
So, I’m really looking forward to the weeks ahead.
But I also know they’re going to be pretty busy… You see, this month is all about the hustle for me.
I think we often have seasons of hustle in our businesses where we’re working more often. And for me, that’s this September. The summer has been pretty chill and now it’s time to get back to business.
Here are a few of my goals for the month ahead:
1. Get Ahead With Content Creation
One of the main things I need to tackle is content creation. Not only do I have this month’s content on my plate, but I also want to get all of October’s content scheduled. Since I’ll be moving early next month, it’s important that I get everything done and out of the way. Then, I won’t have to worry about missing out on blog posts or YouTube videos.
This will also take some work off my plate during the move, as it’ll take some time to get settled in. And that should also eliminate some stress since I won’t need to worry about working while I move.
2. Run a Three-Day Flash Sale
Exciting news for anyone who has been thinking about joining my Blogging Bombshell course… It’s going on sale for three days early this month. Since it’s my 30th birthday in a matter of days, I thought it would be fun to give back to those of you who read my blog and support my business.
And to do that, I’m running a flash sale. You’ll have to stay tuned for all the details though! If you’re on my email list, don’t worry. You’ll be one of the first to find out how to enroll in this course for a discounted price.
3. Create Workshop Content
For about a month know, I’ve been thinking about creating a mini workshop (or two). I asked my Facebook group to vote between two topics: How to Make Your First $1K Through Blogging or How to Double Your Blog Traffic in 30 Days. (Tentative titles, of course.) Most of them voted for the money workshop, however I figured I’d ultimately do both.
I wanted to start creating the content for the workshop last month, but I ended up busy with sales funnels instead. So, my goal is to get all of the content created during September. Then, after I’ve moved and have gotten settled in, I’ll host the workshop in October. This will work out well since I’ll have a better internet situation at the new house than I do in my rural neighborhood.
4. Return to Doing a Weekly Facebook Live Show
Earlier this year, I was running a weekly show inside my private Facebook group. I’d invite the group’s members to vote on a topic each week, then I’d go live and essentially do a mini training for them. It was a lot of fun and it’s something I’ve been wanting to get back to. However, I think I want to go about things a little differently this time.
I’m possibly going to do the mini trainings on my Facebook business page and do weekly “Hot Seat” calls inside the group. For the Hot Seat, group members will be able to apply and share their struggles with their blog/online business. Then, I’ll go live either with the participant or solo to address that person’s questions. It would be an opportunity to get one-on-one feedback from me without investing in a private coaching session.
